Quilt #31 is #29’s Twin

Last week I finished #29 and started to put together this quilt with the remaining Behinds the Scenes by Jen Kinsgwell.  This used the black tone prints from a layer cake and a jolly bar.  I had forgotten that I bought the layer cake and then bough the jolly bar.

I cut the layer cake in half giving me 84 5″ x 10″ pieces and added them to the 42 5″ x 10″ pieces in the jolly bar.  This quilt is using the black tones, the tan tones were used in Quilt #29.  The best thing is these two quilts are my Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal.

I used Kona Shadow and Snow for the back.

Twins, #29 and #31.  They looked great together.  When you see then together, you can see the difference in the colors.  Not that much difference, but enough to see they aren’t the same.  Of course, I haven’t figured out how to make adjustments in my phone camera to show the quilt differences.

Of course, all the quilting is straight line.

Off to come up with my next plan of attack.
