Hands 2 Help for 2019

Slow to post my Hands 2 Help quilts for 2019.  I’ve already posted about Hands to Help 2019 Check In  for my first two quilts.

I chose Blossom Heart Quilts – Tic Tac Toe block.

Here is the sample I made for my hives.  I requested bright colors for the X and grey tones for the corners with white on white.

They really delivered on these blocks.    I had 24 blocks to work with and decided to make four quilts for Jack’s Basket.

This is a charity that I am sewing for this year.  I divided the blocks up and came up with these four quilts.

Darker Blues, purples and pink/orange.

Pinks

And my favorites orange, greens and yellows.  This one surprised me, as they usually aren’t my first choice of colors.

You can see in this picture the fourth quilt is lighter blues and greens.

Things are getting back to normal at the new house.  Trying to get back into a daily routine, having gallbladder surgery yesterday, isn’t helping.

All pretty quilts and colorways. I am especially loving the oranges, greens and yellows as green is my favorite color.

These quilts are fab! I hope that your gallbladder surgery doesn’t hold you up too much. Or, rather, that it will help you find your sewing mojo in just the right amounts as you recuperate.

These little quilts definitely made me smile. They are adorable. Thanks for the contribution to Jack’s Basket. That was the charity I chose this year as well. They should be busting at the seams in quilts this year. 🙂

Nice quilts, and I’m sure Jack’s Basket will be blessed by them! Take it easy, so you can heal well. You’ll be back to getting settled in and sewing up a storm in no time!
