I’ve had this fabric, since 2015, called Beachhouse by Jackie McFee for Camelot Fabrics. I think it was the first fat quarter bundle I ever bought.
Couldn’t decide what to do with it until this came along. I call it fate, Beach House fabric and a Beach House pattern. No brainer, let’s get started.
Got sewing and had my HSTs together fairly quick.
Then blocks came together.
At this point, things changed. I was ironing and a friend dropped in, remember in a previous post I mentioned three couples we had gotten close with here in SC. One of the ladies saw me ironing and fell in love with the fabric and pattern. She isn’t a quilter, but is a beach lover.
I had thought over the past year that I would like to make each of these ladies a quilt. They are definitely quilt worthy. So I decided this one was for Chris.
Well the four of us girls were heading for a weekend away and I thought it would be a great time to give them each a quilt.
Here is Chris’ quilt all finished.

Now I just need to get busy and pick out fabric and patterns for two more quilts.
