Going Backwards for a Finish on Quilt #17

It has been awhile, since I left this project.

But I got back at it this week. Here it is pinned and in the quilting process. I do my quilting on my Janome 9400.  At this point all my quilting is straight line.

Once the quilting was done, today was onto binding.  I have to give a shout out to Red Pepper Quilts for the inspiration of the striped binding.  I love it and have used it on a few of  my quilts.  Here is the finished quilt.

I love how it turned out.  I decided that I need to do a final summary of each of my quilts for my own sanity of how they turned out and details of fabric.

Size:          54 x 80

Fabric:       Flow Zen Chic by Moda

                  Kona White

                  Backing from Joann’s quiilting collection

                  Binding from Hobby Lobby

Love the striped binding! And the back is a nice touch, too. I agree–the straight line quilting complements the design.
