Clementine QAL Block #5 – Pineapple’s Puzzle

Where does the time go?  We are already on month #5 for the Clementine Quilt Along by Fat Quarter Shop.  You can get this months pattern, as well as the first four months here.

I was glad to see this was going to be a quick block to put together.  Things have been crazy here, so a quick block was just what was needed.  This month is called Pineapple’s Puzzle.

As with the past months, we are making two blocks, one large (20.5 x 20.5) and one small (12.5 x 12.5).  Here are the HSTs and the center block ready to get together.

This Mama’s Cottage fabric is just gorgeous.  It really gives the spring feel, which is coming to my area a bit late this year.

I hear there are still quilt kits available at Fat Quarter Shop.  It’s not too late to start.  This was the first quilt kit from FQS that I am using.  So far they have been very generous in their fabric requirements needed versus the kit, which means there will be some great scraps for future projects.

First block is good to go.

Here are both blocks waiting for the last blocks to join them next month.

Why not head on over and get the patterns.  That’s right to make it easier for you I added the link again.  Don’t forget the Clementine patterns are FREE to download! We only ask for a suggested donation of $5 to our St. Jude campaign for each time you download our patterns.  That’s a win-win.  You get a great block pattern and the kids of St. Jude’s get a donation.

Hi Jan! I’ve been wondering how you’re doing. I know you’ll give us details as you can. I really just LOVE these fabrics. This is going to be the cutest quilt when it is finished. You really are tempting me with those links – it’s not too late to start even though you have 10 projects already in progress. I’m trying to stay strong, but I just may falter . . . and you wouldn’t be surprised.
    Happy Saturday! ~smile~ Roseanne

Love the way these are turning out. Good luck with your chaos – it is nice when it is all back in control!
