2021 Recap and 2022 Plans

Before I can look at 2022, I need to review 2021.

Onto Goals for 2021:

Sewcialities

  •      NOT EVEN STARTED!  King Christmas Postage Stamp
  •      DONE!  Queen Beach fabric

Projects

  • DONE!  Table Runners
  • SOME!  Napkins
  • NONE!  Ruler Work
  • DONE!  Bee Blocks
  • SOME!  More Pillow Covers

Of course there were nine quilts done that weren’t even thought of at the beginning of 2021 that were completed this year.  All in all not a bad year.

One other recap I like to do is for myself.  Since I started quilting in late 2015 I have completed 95 quilts, ranging from baby to king.  Bags, runners, totes and other projects have totaled 53.  Ready to be productive and enjoy my quilting time in 2022.

I think you had an amazing 2021. You made so many gifts from the heart for friends and loved ones, and they were a treat to get to see. I wish you a wonderful 2022 and look forward to seeing what you make!

You’ve had a really great quilting year! I’m confident 2022 will be the same for you, if not better!

What a great year you had! 95 quilts since you started…..I have never counted mine all up, but it is fine to hear your numbers. I like that there were 9 that weren’t in the plan that you got done. Ruler quilting on charity quilts is a good thing…and washing the quilt before it’s given will hide the errors we can’t help but focus on! Congrats on a great year!

Aunt Jan, I did not know this blog existed, but I’m so excited to have found it! I have no idea how I never connected Cocoa Quilts with you🙄. My brain at its finest. Anyway, I LOVE that you quilt and enjoy seeing your work. We are super excited to build our barndominium with a special place designated for the beautiful quilt you made us. It’s going to be the highlight of our living room! Keep posting! Love you!
