Spring Runners

March was the month of table runners for me.  I pulled out a Frolic by Me & My Sisters jelly roll.  Wanted quick and simple.

Quilting the same put different.

Three done.  One gifted to my Aunt and one to my sister.

Then I found this pattern Confetti Star pattern from Fat Quarter Shop.  Pulled out a jelly roll (can you believe that this leaves me only 2 Jelly Rolls in my stash-more on that later) and started to sew.

Found a scrap piece of Tula Pink for the back.

This one is sitting on my table.

Once I had that done, I thought let’s make a few more for a few friends.  Since I only had 1 Halloween Jelly Roll and 1 Don’t Touch Me Now favorite  jelly roll I needed another one.  The only place around here for Jelly Rolls is Joann’s, not really a choice.  Or the local quilt shop, not open today.  Next best thing was call my sister and see what she had.  She had a Spring Zing Batiks pack.

Went with the same pattern and got to cutting, here are the four done.

Same quilting on all, two different backings.

Delivered these to neighbors for spring.

Lovely runners! Your quilting lines are beautiful and made very different results with same runners, fun! Love the wavy lines too.

Wowzers! You are one quilting machine there. That is a lot of wonderful table runners. And, how nice to give them to friends and family. I especially appreciate the link to the free pattern. I’ve already downloaded it. It is really a wonderful pattern. Have I counted correctly? 8 finished table runners? I like the simple quilting on them. It really works well.

You are a table runner machine!! They are all so wonderful. Can I be your neighbor? LOL!
I finished 1 last night and have another to quilt this week. They feed my design addiction without having to make a large quilt.

Beautiful runners!! I really love how you quilted these. I’ve used that “matchstick” quilting on some pillows lately and it works so nicely on these smaller projects.

Very pretty. Your fabrics are beautiful, the piecing is so neat and the quilting is just perfect – no fuss. Love them all.
Spring is a beautiful time and the temperatures are just perfect for running 😀 I wish I was a runner. Alas, I am just a walker :-p

You really got into the groove! They all look wonderful and I am so glad that you kept at least one to use for yourself. They look great how fun to know friends and family will be using them.

You really went to town and they are all terrific! That looks luck the energy bunny visited you. I don’t keep a lot of jelly rolls around but am really pleased that you were able to find one. I know what you mean about Joann’s – not really a choice.. Glad you had a willing helper…some shopping is definitely in order!

Great finishes, Jan! They are so bright and cheery! How neat that you are sharing them with family and friends, but I’m glad you are keeping one for yourself to enjoy. I have more jelly rolls than I thought I had; too bad we’re not neighbors, I could’ve handed one off to you!

Hi Jan! Look at what came up in my Pinterest email feed today – and I’m delighted to see what you’ve made. Gosh, I would love to be your neighbor! HAHA! Hmm. It seems like I might have a jelly roll or two hanging around – who doesn’t love a new cute table runner for Spring?! Nice job. I love them all. ~smile~ Roseanne
